2013 Info:

It has been a busy year so far with work and fun.  In April there were two HHH running events with one here in Phoenix and another in Rocky Point, Mexico.  Both had a good number of attendees, tons of craziness and a little bit of relaxation.  In May I went on a house boating trip to Lake Powell with a group of friends.  I was very happy that one of the people brought two kayaks for us to use!  In June I attended my nephew’s wedding in Culver, IN.

July was my Grandmother’s birthday and our Meier family reunion in Harvey, ND and the reason for my 4,795 mile motorcycle trip.  Below is a picture of the DL650 V-Strom with its new bags on a quick break due to my first bee sting as I traveled through Wyoming on my motorcycle adventure.  Here is a link to the page I have started:  click

September brought a long overdue trip back to the Vancouver and Whistler areas. I hadn’t been up there since around 2000 so it was great to visit again.  The weather was sunny and warm while Phoenix was rainy.  Nice switch.  Here’s a post about the trip which leads to some photos taken:  click

Callie is doing better, but is definitely more subdued and seems lonely without Mooch.  I’m still having difficulty adjusting to life without him, but know that Callie needs a playmate so I am glad that her and Darius (foster dog) have been getting along so well. Here are some pictures of my foster dog Darius:  Click
